Or you might even like to try publishing your book yourself. With our assistance a small quantity can be economically produced and you could sell these in a number of ways.
What type of books do we print?
Perhaps you have written a book about your life, your family history, your travels, your work, or even your experiences in the Services? Or maybe it's a short story or a fictional novel? We print all types of books and on a very wide range of subjects. The books we print are in standard paperback format and generally have a glossy (laminated) colour cover. Pictures and maps can be included with the inside text and the end result is a professionally typeset and bound book that looks and feels like any other paperback in your local bookshop. The standard size paperback that we print is 130mm wide by 190mm tall, however we can print all sizes up to A4

We specialise in printing paperback books or booklets for individuals, companies, schools, clubs, etc. Indeed, we will print any type of book on any subject as long as it does not contain illegal material
Print on demand
Print on demand technology means self publishing is now a serious consideration for writers. Print on demand enables books to be printed in shorter print runs rather than the traditional batch printing method. Print on demand also offers publishers one other significant advantage, because books are printed on demand there is not as much chance of loosing money in tied up unsold stock. So why not have a few hundred books printed to test the market, if your book sells well over a sustained period it may well attract the attention of other publishers. Using print on demand technology doesn't mean you have to become a self publisher, you may simply want your book printed for personal use in which case its the perfect method of seeing your manuscript turned into a professional looking book.
Standard specification
Our standard format for paperback books is 130 mm wide by 190 mm tall. The covers are lithographically printed in four colour process on the front, spine and back cover, but not on the inside front or back cover. The cover material is 300 gsm with a gloss film over laminate. The inside pages are digitally printed in black on to 80 gsm white paper and are perfect bound to the covers (i.e. glued in standard paperback format). The standard font for the inside pages is 11 point Times Roman but the covers may have any font to suit the design. Inside picture pages are litho printed on to 115 gsm gloss coated white paper.
